Just shy of 40 miles away from Spokane International Airport, this private lake is easily accessible through the air. The new Loon Lake Medical Clinic is almost walkable from many of the properties. The closest grocery store, All Season’s Grocery and Hardware, is less than a mile away!

Visitors and residents have many restaurant options near the lake. Locals recommend Lakehouse Bar and Grill, Loon Lake Pizza and Ice cream, and Loon Lake Saloon and Grill. These are some of the highly touted restaurants incredibly close to the lake, but there are many other options not far as well.

Deer Lake's wide variety of species includes largemouth and smallmouth bass, black crappie, yellow perch, rainbow trout, and lake trout. It's notable that in the 1960s, the state record lake trout (30 pounds, four ounces) was caught here.
