Ria Lake is a small lake in Washington County Minnesota which lies within eastern Newport and South of St. Paul. The closest metropolitan city is St. Paul which is 12 or so miles away from the lake. The closest commercial airport is the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport which is about 13 miles away by the fastest route. The closest hospital is M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital which is 4.4 miles away.

What to do on the water

Lake Ria is a small 11 acres in size, but that still is enough space for swimming, canoeing, and fishing. Fishing fans can find flathead catfish in this lake despite its small size.
