Breathtaking Landscapes at Kabetogama

Kabetogama Lake is the crown jewel of the region. The glacial lake boasts 25,760 acres of clear, pristine waters. Tall, rocky cliffs are a unique feature of the lake, along with a multitude of islands.

The lake is for all kinds of water recreation. It is also part of Voyageurs National Park, so many hiking trails are at your fingertips. It features many overlooks along with sights like Kettle Falls and the Ellsworth Rock Gardens.

It is also the only national park that maintains snowmobile trails. Others can use the trails for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Ice skating and ice fishing are other popular winter activities.

Opportunities at Crane Lake

Crane Lake is a small body of water covering 3,088 acres. It is 30 feet deep on average but can be as deep as 80 feet.

Its sandy shores are great for swimming, putting in a kayak, or having a lakeside picnic. On the water, fishing, boating, and paddleboarding are popular.
