Mitawan Lake is a 191-acre lake located in Stony River Township, Minnesota. Founded as Superior County in 1855, Lake County went through two name changes before its current name.

An hour north is the town of Ely, the closest place to get gas, groceries, and other amenities. The city also hosts the Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital.

For a big-city destination, Duluth is under 100 miles away. The city has plenty of amenities and attractions for a weekend trip, including the Duluth International Airport.

Fun on the Water
