McDonald Lake, also known as Schwartz Lake or Big McDonald #2, is a beautiful 561-acre lake. All three McDonald Lakes have a combined surface area of over 2,000 acres!

The lakes are located in Edna Township, Minnesota, under 30 miles from Detroit Lakes and under 70 miles from Fargo, North Dakota.

The Hector International Airport is under 75 miles away, and the Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes Hospital is under 35 miles away.
