Petenwell Lake - Arkdale

Located in Adams, Juneau, and Woods Counties, Wisconsin

An undiscovered gem, Lake Petenwell is the second largest lake in Wisconsin at 23,000 acres and over 100 miles of shoreline. Fishing and Boating

For local accommodations, check out Inn of the Pines in Friendship, 30 minutes east of the lake. Choice Hotels can be found in Tomah (40 minutes) and Lisbon (30 minutes).

Airports and Hospitals

The nearest airport for private flights is the Alexander Field - Southwoods County Airport on the north end of Petenwell Lake. The nearest airport offering commercial flights is Central Wisconsin Airport, two hours and 20 minutes from the lake.

The nearest hospitals to help you with all of your medical needs are Gunderson Moundview Hospital in Friendship (30 minutes) and Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston (40 minutes).
