The Lakeland Airport, located 8.9 miles north of the lake, features great flights with airlines that provide wonderful services and other amenities within the airport. All airlines provide services accommodating to all passengers’ needs creating a safe, comfortable flight. Outdoor Recreation Activities

On the water, there are many water activities for everyone of all ages to partake in for a day full of fun with beautiful scenery all around in a family-friendly environment. Everyone can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, and swimming on the lake. Boaters and fishers can expect to catch various species of fish such as largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, black crappie, muskellunge, bowfin, and yellow perch.

The Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari offers a fun time with friends and family to see over 1,700 animals of 229 species. There is a 168-acre safari park with a tram, a fish pond, and feeding encounters with different animals. This is a great activity for all ages to enjoy some time outdoors. It can be found 2.1 miles north of the lake for a quick and easy trip for some excitement.

The Torpy Park features several amenities for everyone to enjoy, including a beach, picnic shelters, pavilions, grills and tables, tennis courts, a playground, sand volleyball, and more. The park allows all guests to experience a relaxing time out on the sandy beach with a lakefront view and time in the water. In the winter, there is a skating rink for everyone to enjoy. The park is located 5 miles east of the lake.

Experience a fun, challenging course with the great company going throughout the course with beautiful views.
