The three largest reservoirs in the state are located within ten miles of Grand Coulee Dam: Roosevelt, Banks, and Rufus Woods.

Each offers excellent fishing year-round. Over 14 species of game fish can be found in these lakes including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, trout, kokanee, perch, crappie, whitefish, lingcod, sunfish, and sturgeon which have been recorded over 13 feet and 1,000 pounds.

The Grand Coulee Dam is the seventh-largest conventional hydroelectric power plant in the world and can be toured in all seasons except during the winter. The dam also features a stunning laser light show during the summer.
