Offutt Lake

10 Miles South of Olympia

Offutt Lake and its community are located approximately 10 miles south of Olympia. The city includes restaurants, retail stores, schools, and hotels along with the Olympia Regional Airport and Providence St. Peter Hospital.

Seattle, known for its attractions, entertainment, and nightlife, is approximately 70 miles away. It houses the King County International Airport.

Recreation With a View

Offutt Lake is at the top of the list for many anglers in the area. The lake is stocked with rainbow, cutthroat, and brown trout, largemouth bass, catfish, and yellow perch.

The waters are traveled by kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and electric motors. A variety of watercraft can be rented from Offut Lake Resort. Others enjoy swimming, sunning, and relaxing around the lakeshore.

Dining and Events

The Lady of the Lake Restaurant was originally built in 1939 and then renovated in 2014 for reopening. The restaurant and bar serve appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, mixed beverages, craft beer, and more.

Offutt Lake Resort hosts the New Year’s Polar Plunge, Annual Lake Derby, boat parades, live music, and other special events.
