A Beautiful Lake

Lake McMurray is a 155.40-acre lake with a public boat launch and fishing. The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout, resident Coastal Cutthroat Trout, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and the occasional Black Crappie.

Golf

Lake McMurray has some surrounding golf courses with excellent ratings! Overlook Golf Course is 6.7 miles from the lake, and Skagit Golf & Country Club is 17.1 miles from the lake. So, when you aren't fishing, grab your clubs and enjoy the sport!

Everett, Washington

Everett, Washington, is just a 35-minute drive from Lake McMurray, where there is even more recreation to do. The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, located in Everett, is an incredible museum where World War II aircraft have been fully restored and displayed. The Schack Art Center is also in Everett and has two floors of art, a glass blowing studio, a gift shop, and art classes. Lastly, the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is a must-see in Everett. It has ten themed gardens, including the Urban Tree Walk, Entrance Garden, Rock Garden, and more.

Hospitals, Grocery Stores, and Airports

Skagit Valley Hospital is 11.2 miles from the lake, and Cascade Valley Hospital is 11.5 miles from the lake, all devoted to the community's health. Within 16 minutes of Lake McMurray, three grocery stores include Safeway, Grocery Outlet, and a locally owned store called Jerry's Grocery. There is the Skagit Regional Airport that is only 19.4 miles from Lake McMurray, which is a 25-minute drive for traveling.
