Lorene Lake

Lorene Lake is part of the Twin Lakes Neighborhood in Federal Way, Washington. The lake is perfectly placed for a family, located just 20 miles south of Seattle and 10 miles north of Tacoma.

There is a collection of restaurants, shops, and retail stores nearby, along with St. Francis Hospital. Seattle houses the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and several iconic attractions.

Tranquility in the Neighborhood

Lorene Lake spans 15 acres with calm, glassy waters. It is bordered by beautiful community homes and Treasure Island Park.

The lake makes a gorgeous view and is a fine location for boating or fishing. Treasure Island Park features a paved walking trail and a large grassy area.

Dash Point State Park

An entrance to Dash Point State Park is located across from the neighborhood on Hoyt Road. The park covers nearly 400 acres and features several nature trails.

The Dash Point State Beach is the crown jewel of the park, featuring wide-open views of Puget Sound. When the tide is low, you can find starfish, crabs, and clams. Its flat sands and low-rolling waves have made it a popular skim-boarding location.

Seattle is home to famous attractions like Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Seattle Aquarium, and the Big Seattle Wheel.

Tacoma boasts the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Wild Waves Theme and Waterpark, Museum of Glass, The Children’s Museum of Tacoma, and the Tacoma Art Museum.
