Loon Lake is located alongside US Highway 395 just 30 miles from downtown Spokane. The small town of Loon Lake includes a school system, restaurants, churches, and more.

Loon Lake is a spring-filled body of water that covers 1,100 acres. It has eight miles of shoreline which are towered with pines, firs, and cedar.

It is a popular nesting spot for loons, given its name. The call of the loons set the mood for relaxing evenings on the lake.

Its waters are 46 feet deep on average but can be as deep as 100 feet. They hold populations of black crappie, bluegill, brook trout, brown bullhead, large and smallmouth bass, sockeye salmon, and yellow perch.

Pontooning, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, and kayaking are just a few of the lake’s popular activities. There are two public lake beaches for anyone who likes to relax on the shore.
