Lake Louise is a 38.2-acre lake in Lakewood, Washington. The lake is open year-round with the opportunity for stocked Rainbow Trout. In the early years, Lakewood was known as the “playground” where people from Seattle would come down and enjoy the lakes, golf courses, and other amenities.

Farrell’s Marsh Wildlife Area

This inspirational wooded area has many trails for walkers, bicyclists, and others and is just 2.1 miles from Lake Louise. This marsh contains around 3,500 feet of fresh-water shoreline and has fish such as blue herons and kingfishers. It is perfect for those who enjoy harvesting the annual blackberry crop and those who want the outdoors. This area is full of history and still has wagon ruts carved into the ground from more than 150 years ago.

Within 6 miles of Lake Louise are five highly rated golf courses. These courses include Tacoma Country & Golf Club, Oakbrook Golf Club, Meadow Park Golf Course, and more. Golfers have access to a putting green, a driving range, golf carts, and 18-hole courses among these courses. When you are done with a day at the lake, grab your clubs and enjoy the sport just minutes from your home!

Travelling is made easy with the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport being 36.4 miles from the lake and other smaller airports such as the Auburn Municipal Airport near the lake.
