Washington
Cranberry Lake real estate is regarded as a limited supply market in Washington for lake homes and lake lots.
Typically, buyers can find very few Cranberry Lake homes for sale, and very few Cranberry Lake lots and land for sale.
Cranberry Lake is one of the many smaller Washington lakes.
Welcome to Cranberry Lake, a small, private lake in Northwest Washington outside the city of Sedro-Woolley.
The property is 12 minutes away from PeaceHealth United General Hospital and under an hour from the Bellingham International Airport.
The town of Sedro-Woolley, known as the “Gateway to the North Cascades,” is located on the western edge of the Cascade Mountain Range. Interestingly enough, it is the chainsaw carving capital of Washington and the Pacific Northwest.
Its premier 4th of July celebration, Logerodeo, is home to numerous traditions including an 8-year-old annual beard competition, parade, and redo.
The celebration’s main event, however, is the international chainsaw carving competition, which is the longest-running of its kind. Here, chainsaw carvers whittle an eight-foot-high, three-foot-wide piece of cedar in front of a crowd of spectators.
History nuts can venture down to the Sedro-Woolley Museum, a multi-exhibit local historical gallery that features several interesting displays including, yes, a chainsaw tree.
If you want a lake all to yourself in the vicinity of a unique small town in the heart of Washington’s logger country, Cranberry Lake might be the lake for you!
