Burien Lake

In the Middle of It All

Burien Lake is conveniently located in Washington, being in between Seattle and Tacoma. Burien Lake is in the city of Burien. Since the lake is between these two large cities, the lake is also near the SeaTac International Airport.

The lake is very close to another large water body, being a short drive east of Poverty Bay. Burien is a city that has experienced growth for most of the 2010s. As of 2013, the population of Burien was over 48,000.

Abnormal Situation

There are multiple homes available around the lake, which provide water access to the variety of lakes within the area and also Poverty Bay.

Residents have access to the water and restaurants, hotels, gyms, and other venues. The lake's location within a city close to an international airport guarantees continued development of the area surrounding Burien Lake.

There are multiple parks located within a short driving distance of Burien Lake. These parks include Eagle Landing Park, Seahurst Park, and Salmon Creek Reserve Park, each park getting farther north.

With access to the lake limited, this also limits the potential of fishing within the area. However, with multiple lakes and Poverty Bay, fishing and watersport activities remain possible.

Plenty to Do

While the lake may be small, its prime location makes it an excellent spot for visitors involved and active. Burien Lake may not be very secluded, but it's proximity to other places of interest provide plenty of ways to be entertained.
