Bosworth Lake

Location and Access

Bosworth Lake is located in Snohomish County, in a rural area approximately two miles south of Granite Falls. It is a beautiful lake covering 103 acres of land with a max depth of 80 feet. It is one of the only lakes managed with seasonal fishing closure and considered one of the largest and deepest lakes in the county.

Located just under 50 miles from Bosworth Lake are The Kenmore Air Harbor Seaplane Base and the King County International Airport. Cascade Valley Hospital is 15 miles from the lake and is open 24 hours.

Recreational Opportunities

Bosworth Lake does offer public access along with a boat launch. It also allows other recreational opportunities such as boating with non-gas-powered motors, fishing, and restroom access.

Fishing

The lake is excellent for fishing year-round. The type of fish caught in Bosworth Lake is coastal cutthroat trout, coho salmon, largemouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, and rainbow trout.

Bosworth Lake overall is considered to be in healthy condition with high clarity water and low to moderate algae.

Since Bosworth Lake is located two miles south of Granite Falls, nearby restaurants, coffee shops, theatres, museums, and parks are just a short drive away!

Eat and Drink

Enjoy a nice meal out at Buzz Inn Steakhouse, Hanky Pies, or Marco’s Taqueria. On the weekends, you can hang out at Lake Stevens Brewing Company that is considered to have the best staff and drinks!

Adventuring Out

If you are looking for some outdoor exercise, Lime Kiln Trail is located near Bosworth Lake and Granite Falls. Seen as a “hidden treasure,” this seven-mile round trip hike is a popular spot.
