Lakes Aplenty

Bonney Lake, a smaller lake located just east of Tacoma, has ample water access. The lake is within two other lakes' close vicinity: the snake-shaped Debra Jane Lake and the extensive Lake Tapps.

The lake offers plenty of amenities and resources, with national and local restaurants, public and private parks, and fishing spots.

The Sea-Tac International Airport is to the northwest of the lake. Bonney Lake is part of the city of Bonney Lake in Pierce County, Washington. The city is just over 30 miles from Seattle.

Parks, Trails, and More

In the city of Bonney Lake, there are eight public and private parks. These parks makeup 142 acres and cover three miles of trail.

The trails are located Allan Yorke Park, Midtown Park, and Fennel Creek. There is an off-leash dog park located at Viking Park.

Additionally, there are other parks available at other lakes. For example, Lake Tapps Park sits on the northeast side of Lake Tapps. There is also a golf course available for visitors, known as Tapps Island Golf Course.

Smaller Lake with Plenty to Do

While Bonney Lake is not even the largest lake in the general area, it still offers much to its residents and visitors. There are homes with lake access or lakefront views located on all sides of the lake.

With the city of Bonney Lake nearby, finding something entertaining is just a short drive away.
