A Lake in a Prime Location

Beverly Lake is about three miles south of the city of Everett in Snohomish County.

This lake is particularly noteworthy because of its proximity to two of the larger water bodies in Washington. Driving northwest of the lake, residents can visit Puget Sound and Possession Sound, which border each other.

Due to the lake's proximity to multiple towns and cities, access to food, department stores, hotels, and medical offices are readily available. For lovers of aviation, Beverly Lake is nearby both Boeing and a local airfield, Paine Field.

Adventures for All Ages

Beverly Lake, also known as Mud Lake, provides various outdoor activities taking place both on the lake and off of it.

Fishing on the lake is famous among residents. Fish that can are caught on the lake include sunfish and panfish, among others.

The lake is a prime location for those who enjoy going to parks and getting outdoors. The lake is in the vicinity of a multitude of parks and nature conservation areas.

To the north of the lake are three parks that residents can enjoy. On the coast of Possession Sound is Howarth Park, and to the west of Howarth Park, on the border with Puget Sound, is Lighthouse Park. Just below and to the east of Lighthouse park is a nature conservation area known as the Japanese Gulch Conservation Area.

To the south of the lake are a variety of sports and exercise activities available for visitors. Nearby is the Walter Hall Golf Course, where individuals can schedule a tee time. Farther to the south, just past Silver Lake, is the McCollum Park Athletic Field, providing visitors with different sports to play and watch.

Lastly, parents can take their kids to the Imagine Children's Museum, located in Everett. The museum encourages kids to partake in interactive exhibits designed to build a child's social and intellectual strength. Some displays get the whole family involved.
