On the Water Fun

Spanning 222 acres, Lake Kilby is the oldest of the Portsmouth water supply lakes.

The upper half is a dense and very scenic cypress swamp, offering plenty of views and great fishing! Flier, warmouth, chain pickerel, and black crappie flourish here, but anglers can also find bluegill, redear, and largemouth bass.

In addition to fishing, residents can also enjoy boating and observing nature. Gas motors up to 10 horsepower are allowed, but bank fishing is prohibited.
