There is a public boat ramp and dock on the south shore, great for kayaking and canoeing, or a day of swimming and lounging.

What’s Near Crystal Lake?

The largest maze in New England, the Great Vermont Cornmaze, is located in Danville, around 35 minutes south. It features attractions for the entire family: a 28-acre “Big Maze,” a “Scenic Maze,” and a play area for children.

Around 30 minutes south in St. Johnsbury, visitors can explore the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium, which includes a natural history museum, planetarium, and an archive.

There is also the St. Johnsbury History and Heritage Center, which houses items and archives detailing the history of the over 200-year-old town.

Lake residents can also enjoy the numerous state parks surrounding the area, like Willoughby State Forest, Victory State Forest, and Jay State Forest.
