Lake Dunmore is a beautiful lake surrounded by the Green Mountain Forest, located in the towns of Salisbury and Leicester, Vermont.

This lake is at the base of Mt. Mooslamoo, under 10 miles from Middlebury, and under 50 miles from Burlington.

The Burlington International Airport is around 45 miles away, and the UVM Health Network - Porter Medical Center is 11 miles away.

All-Sports Lake

Covering nearly 1,000 acres, with over eight miles of shoreline, Lake Dunmore entertains residents and visitors all year-round.

The lake has a maximum depth of 105 feet, making it great for boating and fishing. Some anglers can catch a variety of fish here including bass, crappie, lake trout and pike.

Other than fishing, residents enjoy swimming and water sports such as water skiing, inner-tubing and wake boarding.
