Location and Access

Upper Raintree Lake is a reservoir in Big Sandy, Texas, part of Upshur County. Longview is around 35 miles away, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area is around 125 miles away.

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Winnsboro is the closest medical center, located just 26 minutes away from the lake area. East Texas Regional Airport is located around an hour away.

The area offers great schooling dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment for your children. Harmony Elementary, Harmony Jr. High, and Harmony Sr. High are the closest to the area. There is also the Gilmer school district which is about 20 minutes away from the lake area.
