Glaspy Lake

Located Between Tyler, Longview, and Dallas

Glaspy Lake is a water feature along Big Sandy Creek, just south of the Holly Lake Ranch Community. It is 30 miles north of Tyler and 35 miles west of Longview.

Either city is convenient for shops, restaurants, and hotels. Longview boasts the Longview Regional Medical Center and East Texas Regional Airport. The Dallas-Fort Worth Area is approximately two hours away.

Escape a While

Glasby Lake is a natural opening along Big Sandy Creek. The creek is popular for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.

Hawkins Lake is less than 10 miles south of Glasby Lake. Hawkins Beach is the perfect place for a day in the sun. Bring a boat, WaveRunner, or pair of skis to get in on the water sport activities.

The lake is populated by largemouth and smallmouth bass, black and white crappie, chain pickerel, and sunfish.

Longview features several golf courses like The Challenge at Oak Forest, Wood Hollow Golf Club, Alpine Golf Course, and Pinecrest Country Club. It is also home to Longview Mall, Longview World of Wonders, Longview Escape Room, and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Tyler State Park, Caldwell Zoo, The Tyler Rose Garden, and McLendon House are popular attractions in Tyler.
