Grapevine Lake is located about 30 miles northwest of Dallas and northeast of Fort Worth. It is a popular location among the locals but its appeal brings in people from all over the country.

The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located right below the lake, so no need to worry about a long drive from the airport. Grapevine is home to a variety of restaurants, shops, and hotels along with schools and the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.

It is an all-time favorite for watersports, including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, jet skiing, and wakeboarding. The lake’s depth of 65-feet lets it sustain healthy populations of largemouth bass, spotted bass, catfish, crappie, and white bass.

Meadowmere Park features the largest floating waterpark in Texas. The course includes obstacles, trampolines, slides, and more.

For a nature adventure, you can start at the Cross Timbers Trail Head and hike several different paths along the water.

Grapevine Golf Course, Cowboys Golf Club, Tour 18 Dallas, and Trophy Club Country Club are located in Grapevine and are a short distance from the lake.

SEA Life Aquarium, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, an escape room, bowling alley, and an AMC Theater are located in the Grapevine Mills Shopping Center.
