"There are 17 separate hiking paths in the park, totaling more than 30 miles of varied terrain. The Point Lookout Trail, which rises 1,460 feet above sea level, offers hikers breathtaking vistas of Cherokee Lake and the Cumberland Mountains. Additionally, there are paths for mountain biking that span more than 15 miles and range in difficulty.

"Catchings of bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, rockfish, and bream are available all year long in Cherokee Lake. Up to 20-pound rockfish are frequently caught. Commercial marinas close by offer boat launches, boat rentals, and a bait shop for all your fishing and picnic needs.
