The fishing in Center Hill Lake is also a major feature of the area. Common species include black crappie, brown trout, channel catfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, walleye, and white crappie. Edgar Evans is the largest state park on Center Hill Lake. It covers 6,000 acres and features 12 miles of hiking trails. The park hosts events such as fishing lessons, kayak tours, and even wildflower walks.
