Lake Jocassee

Lake Jocassee is a whopping 7,500-acre lake nestled in the Appalachian mountains of northwestern South Carolina.

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is slightly less than an hour from the lake, and an hour and a half away is the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Within 15 minutes is Keowee Twone, a local grocer.

Lake Jocassee is renowned for its fishing and holds state records for brown trout, rainbow trout, and smallmouth bass. The cool mountain water that feeds the lake is perfect for swimming and water sports.
