Lake Cherokee is a 222-acre private and stream-fed lake in Tamassee, an unincorporated area of Oconee County, South Carolina.

It is the largest private lake in the county and is surrounded by lake homes. It is a popular lake among homeowners for tubing, skiing, and fishing.
