On the Water

Walker Lake stretches roughly 113 acres with a 3 miles shoreline. This relatively large lake is home to the Walker Lakeshores Landowners Association (WLLA). Members can enjoy two swimming beaches, a boat launch and storage area, a tennis court, and a clubhouse. Residents enjoy planned activities such as an annual picnic and nature presentations. Walker Lake's location, surrounded by hundreds of acres of Federal and State parklands and proximity to the beautiful Delaware River provide ample opportunities for hiking, bird watching, boating, camping, skiing, and fishing. Fishing is very popular on Walker Lake and anglers can be lucky to find largemouth bass, sunfish, black crappie, and carp.
