Pymatuning Reservoir is a 17,000-acre recreational lake located in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, and Ashtabula County, Ohio.

Emergency medicine is located under 17 miles south at the Greenville Medical Center. Sitting 50 miles north is the Erie International Airport.

Plenty of family restaurants are available on the Pennsylvania side of the lake. Try places like Yorkie's Grille & Custard, Country Side, Russell's BBQ, and the Crooked Paddle.

Pymatuning is the second largest lake in Pennsylvania, only bested by Lake Erie. Even though it is not one of the Great Lakes, there is just as much to do here!

Pymatuning Reservoir is one of the largest warm-water hatcheries in the world, making fishing here a year-round treat for anglers. Types of fish found here are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, black crappie, white crappie, walleye, bluegill, and more.

The Pymatuning State Park receives millions of visitors a year, and it isn't hard to see why! This park offers many traditional activities like wildlife watching, swimming at one of its five beaches, kayaking, camping, and fishing from one of its shoreline areas. Watersports like wakeboarding and water skiing are popular here, given the reservoir’s massive size.

Marinas like the Linesville Marina Concessionaire and Jamestown Watercraft Concession offer residents a place to park their boat or rent one. These locations also have fishing gear to rent and take onto the water.

One of the most unique attractions at Pymatuning, and arguably the state, is the Linesville Spillway. Visitors throw food pellets into the water densely filled with carp, trying to get a bite. There are so many carp that sometimes birds can walk across the fish to get to the food.
