Lake Hauto is a 330-acre lake split between Schuylkill and Carbon Counties, Pennsylvania.

It is 90 miles north of Philadelphia, PA, and 130 miles west of New York, New York. The lake is 44 miles north of the Lehigh Valley International Airport and 46 miles south of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

This spring-fed lake features gorgeous clean beaches for residents to enjoy on a sunny day! Along with fun on the beach, residents will enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, and other fantastic amenities provided by the HOA.

The Lake Hauto Club offers members tennis courts, picnic pavilions, community areas, and a large fishing pier on the main beach! The most common fish anglers will find in Lake Hauto are largemouth bass, channel catfish, and black crappie.

Close to Lake Hauto is the No. 9 Coal Mine and Museum. Guided tours are offered here that give visitors a glimpse into what it took to open and operate the world's longest continuously operated Anthracite mine!

Hickory Run State Park is the closest place to experience Pennsylvanian nature to the fullest. Explore its boulder field, fish its trout streams, or hike to Hawk Falls.
