The Lake Murray Nature Center will help residents and visitors learn about Lake Murray and the surrounding nature areas, and you can climb to the top of Tucker Tower and look out over the entire lake.

The Lake Murray Marina has a ship store, boat rentals, a boat ramp, and plenty of boat slips available for rent.

Arbuckle Wilderness Park is an exotic animal park with a drive-thru safari, a reptile area, a petting zoo, and lots of fun opportunities for the whole family.

Turner Falls Park in the Arbuckle Mountains is a great option for camping, hiking, swimming, or exploring. Some of the features include a 77-foot waterfall, a rock castle, novelty shops, sandy beaches, three natural caves, and geological formations.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Area

Six Flag over Texas, the original Six Flags theme park, is in the area. The park is also the home of the world’s first log flume, the first freefall ride, and the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Texas.

A reasonable distance from Dallas, residents can also travel a short distance to AT&T Stadium to watch the Dallas Cowboys or Globe Light Field see the Texas Rangers.
