A Lake With Privacy

Lake Tiroga, or Lake Tiaroga, is one of four man-made lakes in the Connestee Falls community in Transylvania County, North Carolina. It sits on 31 acres and offers residents and their guests a private lake experience. It is only an hour's drive to Ashville, North Carolina.

Lake Tiroga Recreation

Residents love to take their kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, and electric motorboats on Lake Tiroga. There are boat launches on the lake for sailors to get their boats on the water. With a speed limit of five mph and a no-wake rule, you’re sure to have a peaceful, relaxing time while on the lake! This also makes it a great place to fish.

Members of the Connestee Falls community can also enjoy their time on Lake Tiroga by fishing. Anglers can catch largemouth bass, spotted bass, catfish, sunfish, trout, and more while fishing here! The boating rules ensure still waters, which makes for serene fishing. Residents and guests can enjoy taking a swim in the beautiful, clean waters.

Plenty of Options

Connestee Falls has plenty of amenities for members. Members can take advantage of the plentiful parks, scenic overlooks, and even a dog park located around Lake Tiroga! Beyond those options, the community provides walking trails, basketball, beach volleyball, and yoga for residents to enjoy. You can enjoy all of these activities with the gorgeous backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains! When you get hungry, try out the Connestee Falls Grill Room.

Golfers can enjoy a round of golf at the Connestee Falls Golf Club. This championship course offers 18 holes of semi-private golfing. Members have access to a suite of amenities, such as the Golf Pro Shop.

Asheville makes the perfect for a day trip! You can visit the Biltmore Estate and eat at restaurants like Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian.

In case of medical emergencies, Transylvania Regional Hospital is only 12 miles away. If you need to fly, Asheville Regional Airport is just 30 miles from Lake Tiroga.
