Barony Lake

Location and Access

Barony Lake, or “Poole Lake,” is a private lake in Raleigh, North Carolina. Located in a gated community, there are approximately 80 acres of land and water here that include the lake and homes for sale. It is a private community, so there is no public access to the lake, only guests of the residents.

Fishing Opportunities

The most popular fish species caught in Barony Lake are largemouth bass, grass carp, and black bullhead.

Hospital and Airport

The WakeMed General Hospital and the Raleigh-Durham International Airport are located about 15 minutes away from Barony Lake.
