Paddling

Lake Snow is the perfect environment for paddling, kayaking, and canoeing. Motorized boats are prohibited on the lake, which helps to preserve this lake's tranquil environment.

Hiking

The Hudson Gorge Wilderness, Siamese Ponds Wilderness, West Canada Lake Wilderness, and Little Moose Mountain Wilderness surround Lake Snow with lush forest for you to explore.

Just to the north of Lake Snow is the 24,477-acre Hudson Gorge Wilderness. Running through the wilderness is the Hudson River, which created the Hudson Gorge over time.

The gorge is known for its cliffs on either side of the river and its scenic views. Also on this property are the 200 foot high OK Slip Falls and the unique Blue Ledges, located on the Hudson River's south side.

There are plenty of hiking trails for you to explore and paddle the Hudson River is a popular sport and whitewater rafting. Camping, fishing, hunting, trapping, and wildlife viewing can also be done throughout the area.
