Lake Alice, also known as Waterport Pond, is a long water body just off of Lake Ontario. The serene environment is only 35 miles outside of Rochester, New York.

Over 325 Acres of Serenity

Lake Alice's calm waters cover over 325 acres, and feature over 10 miles of shoreline, tall trees, beautiful homes, and several docks border the water's steep, rocky edge.

Oak Orchard Dam on the eastern end of the lake is a favorable sight by locals and visitors. The waters of Oak Orchard Creek spill over a rocky slope and create a beautiful scene.

Fishing, Boating, and More

Lake Alice Boat Launch, located mid-lake, offers parking and a boat ramp for easy lake access.

The lake is known for excellent fishing of salmon, trout, and brown bullhead, but anglers also make catches of northern pike, channel catfish, bluegill, bass, and walleye.

Anglers claim the best fishing is on the eastern end near the dam. Lake Alice is a year-round fishery host to ice-fishing in the winter. The calm waters are also loved for kayaking, canoeing, and other leisurely boating.

Endless Fun on Lake Ontario

Lake Alice is conveniently located just five miles south of Lake Ontario, a recreational splendor. It is one of the Great Lakes, featuring over four million acres of beautiful waters.

Lakeside Beach State Park is less than a 10-minute drive away. There you can overlook the blue waters while you picnic, read a book, or play a round of disc golf.

Lake Ontario also features many lighthouses that make a great day trip of exploring.
