Kinderhook Lake is located in Niverville's town in Columbia County, New York. It is under 30 miles from Albany and just 30 minutes from Interstate 90.

This lake has been a source of fun and recreation for decades. In the early 1900s, travelers rode the train for hours to play along Kinderhook Lake's shores. Kinderhook Lake is only about 375 acres in size with an average depth of eight feet.
