Near Lake Ontario

Kasoag Lake is a human-made lake in the heart of Tug Hill by the Kasoag State Forest. It is over 100 acres in a clean, Adirondack-like setting with small cottages scattered around the shores of this small chain of lakes.

By Kasoag Lake, there are three large ponds: Sisley Ponds, Green Pond, and Black Pond.

Kasoag Lake is conveniently located near Lake Ontario's eastern shore, which is one of the famous Great Lakes. You can drive to the lake's shore in approximately 30 minutes.

Fun on the Water

Kasoag Lake is a great recreational lake for kayaking, fishing, swimming, boating, and viewing the abundance of wildlife in and around the lake. For anglers, largemouth bass and northern pike are the two species that are most hooked in the lake.

An essential aspect of the Kasoag Lake community is the Kasoag Lake Conservation Association (KLCA). This association is in charge of preserving, maintaining, and improving the lake for current and future users. The KLCA manages the water quality, plants, animals, weed control, and other Kasoag Lake aspects. So, for residents, this means that the lake will only get better year after year.
