Hatch Lake

Hatch Lake is a small body of water located a few miles east of the New York Finger Lakes. It is just a few miles from West Eaton, New York, in Madison County.

What makes this lake great is its prime location. Not only is it close to the highly-trafficked Finger Lakes region, but it is also less than an hour’s drive from the busy city of Syracuse.

This lake is primarily used as a spot for fishing. Anglers can expect to catch bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed. Plus, you can’t beat the beautiful views of central New York state.

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is home to more than 700 animals on 43 acres. Some of the more popular animals include Asian elephants, Humboldt penguins, and Amur tigers. It is a great place to take a romantic walk through the zoo.
