Location and Access

Located in Caroga, New York, this 198-acre lake is adjacent to Caroga Lake and provides visitors public access, outdoor recreational and water activities.

Fishing Opportunities

There are a variety of fish species found in East Caroga Lake. The most popular catches here are largemouth bass, catfish, perch, pickerel, sunfish, and trout.

Around East Caroga Lake

On the edge of East Caroga Lake, there is the Caroga Lake Campground. This area offers over 105 campsites. Some amenities include restrooms, boat launch, exercise course opportunities, a sandy beach, and a swimming area with a lifeguard.

There is also the opportunity to enjoy water activities such as swimming, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

Royal Mountain Ski Area is another great attraction close to East Caroga Lake. It is located at the base of Adirondack Park, south of Caroga Lake.

Located about 30 minutes away from East Caroga Lake are Nathan Littauer Hospital and Little Falls Hospital.

The two closest airports located about an hour and 15 minutes away are the Griffiss International Airport and the Albany International Airport.
