Swanzey Lake is a spring-fed lake that covers 108 acres and has three miles of shoreline. It can be as deep as 50 feet but is 26 feet on average.

Richardson Park offers a buoyed swimming beach, a fishing pier, and a kayak/canoe launch on the south end of the lake.
