On the Water Fun

North Mill Pond has an outlet to the Piscataquis River that runs into the Atlantic Ocean. The 79-acre lake has an average depth of 10 feet and over a mile of shoreline.

The area is the perfect spot to slow down and read a book, have a picnic, or hammock while overlooking the lake. Anglers take advantage of the lake as well.

The Great Rhythm Brewing Company is right on the lake; it has a great selection of beers and fresh pretzels to go with it.

The Mall at Fox Run and the Crossings offer a selection of name-brand shopping and food courts.

On the coast, there are outings at the Wallis Sands State Beach, Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, Wentworth By the Sea Country Club, or Rye Harbor State Park.
