Mud Pond

Mud Pond is a smaller and more secluded body of water in Milan, New Hampshire. It is close to the New Hampshire-Maine border and under 125 miles from Augusta, Maine.

The Northeast Kingdom International Airport is under 90 miles away, and the Androscoggin Valley Hospital is under 15 miles away.

On and Around the Water

With few on-the-water activities available besides fishing, Mud Pond is a great area to go hiking with the family. The length of the trails is approximately 1.2 miles, and families can view wildlife and enjoy the fresh air.

Located north of the area is Santa’s Village, a North Pole-themed amusement park with rides, water features, and entertainment.

There are also multiple camping and resorts located west of the pond, including the Mountain Lake Camping Resort and the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa.

Golf enthusiasts should check out Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, an 18 hole course considered one of the top courses in Maine and New England. It includes fabulous greens and fairways and beautiful scenes of nature.
