Charming Lake for Decades

Built in 1917, the 54-acre Millville Lake was built on a branch of Spicket River known as Flat Rock Brook.

By the 1920s, cottages were popping up around the lake. The lake was a popular summer destination for traveling families; they loved the lake so much that by the 1950s, it became a permanent residence for many. Family members of the founders still own around ten homes.

Millville Lake is always the perfect setting for a lakeside picnic, afternoon hammocking, swimming, or a paddle around the water in a kayak or canoe.

The lake only allows motorboats that stay in the 10 mph range, so the waters are always a serene escape. With no public access points, residents can enjoy a private paradise.

Calm waters make for great fishing; anglers can find eastern chain pickerel, brown bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, American eel, and pumpkinseed.
