Baxter Lake is a serene, wooded lake with a surface area of 302 acres and an average depth of seven feet. The untouched, eastern portion of the four-mile shoreline has a breathtaking view that the lake residents and visitors appreciate.
The waters are great for swimming, boating, water skiing, canoeing, or kayaking. Sailboating is also accessible on Lake Baxter, where the breeze is always just right. A public access point is on the southern portion.

Rochester is the largest city in the seacoast region and the fourth-largest city in the state. There is a lot of rich history and a variety of activities to embark on in the city.
