Baboosic Lake, created by glaciers 10,000 years ago, covers 228 acres with an average depth of 10 feet and a maximum depth of 26 feet.

Visitors and residents enjoy swimming, building sandcastles, playing on the volleyball courts, tanning, picnicking, and taking swimming lessons at the Baboosic Lake Town Beach.

The beach also offers rentals for stand-up paddleboards, single kayaks, and double kayaks. Larger boats like pontoon boats, fishing boats, and powerboats also share the lake.

Water skiing, wave running, tubing, or wakeboarding are also popular lake activities that are fun to watch from the shore.
