Convenient to Helena, Montana

Hauser Lake is along the Missouri River in Western Montana.

Helena, the state capital, is a short drive away. The picturesque city has long been a place of shopping, dining, and recreation.

The city also houses the Helena Regional Airport, St. Peter’s Health Hospital, and Carroll College.

Scenic Landscapes

Hauser Lake is a 3,200-acre reservoir that lies in the rolling hills of Lewis and Clark County. The grassy hillsides, spotted with green pines, are a beautiful sight.

The lake is a popular host of water sports like boating, water skiing, tubing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Anglers try their luck with the lake’s rainbow and brown trout, walleye, and perch.

A large swimming beach is on the western shore. Next to it, Helena Rental rents out a variety of watercraft.

The Lakeside Marina is a bar and restaurant that hosts live music and other events.

Bill Roberts Golf Course and Green Meadow Country Club are in Helena. Around the city, you will find many unique restaurants and shops to explore.

Mount Helena is the scenic backdrop of the city. There is an excellent web of trails that wind around the mountain. The area is home to various mountain goats, deer, bears, elk, foxes, and rabbits.

Black Sandy State Park is north of Hauser Lake on the Missouri River.
