Scenic Escape in Eureka, Montana

Just outside of Eureka, Glen Lake is a clearwater paradise where recreation and relaxation are guaranteed. Eureka is home to grocery markets, schools, restaurants, shops, and other small-town establishments.

Kalispell is about 60 miles south of the lake on US-93. The city houses the Kalispell City Airport, Glacier Park International Airport, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and a great selection of shops and restaurants.

Glen Lake features 300 acres of crystalline waters with a maximum depth of 19 feet. Homes are well-scattered across its four miles of shoreline.

Lake Activities

Kayaking and canoeing is a popular pastime at Glen Lake. The calm waters are easy to paddle while geese, herons, ducks, and many other native animals are around to observe.

Kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass are some of the most popular catches at Glen Lake.

Its sandy shores are a popular spot for swimming, suntanning, and family picnics.

Hiking, Biking, and Skiing

Whitefish Mountain Resort offers outdoor activities for every season. It is best known for its skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Night skiing is one of its most-anticipated activities.

In the summer, the ski lifts take hikers, bikers, and sightseers up and down the mountain. The alpine slides are a fun way to make it back down the mountain.

While hiking the terrain, you will come across huckleberries, wildflowers, and various spruce, Douglas fir, and western larch trees.
