Convenient to Warrenton and Columbia

Pinnacle Lake is about an hour’s drive from St. Louis or Columbia, Missouri, so it's a great place for a full-time residence or weekend home.

The Saint Louis International Airport and St. Louis General Hospital are about 75 miles from the lake. A variety of restaurants and shops are about a half-hour away in Warrenton.

Relaxing Time on the Lake

Pinnacle Lake is part of Pinnacle Lake Estates, a private, gated community. Besides the lake, the community has picnic areas, a swimming beach, a swimming dock, pavilions, playgrounds, a bathhouse, a campground, boat slips, and a convenience store open from Memorial Day to around Labor Day.

The lake is a 130-acre reservoir fed by natural springs. It gets its name from the tall rock island in the center of the lake called “The Pinnacle.” It is a popular spot for rock climbing and jumping!

The waters are often traveled by pontoons, motorboats, jet skis, sailboats, kayaks, and more. It is a fantastic place for skiing, sailing, or fishing.

There are several hiking trails through the woods of the community where you have chances to spot wildlife and unique foliage.

Eco Adventure Ziplines is nearby on Route 19. The park offers two different courses and accommodates people of all ages.

Some of Saint Louis’s top attractions include the St. Louis Zoo, City Museum, Missouri Botanical Garden, and The Gateway Arch.
