Goose Creek Lake and its community are about an hour south of St. Louis, next to the Missouri-Illinois state line.

Goose Creek Lake is a long body of water with several branches. A large beach is located on its westernmost point, next to the community pool and snack shack.

Boating, Fishing, and Other Activities

On warm summer weekends, the lake is a hub of activity. Boats of all sorts fill the water; others skim the water on skis, tubes, and wakeboards.

Goose Creek Lake and five other fishing ponds in the community are annually stocked with catfish, bass, and crappie. In the big lake, you also have chances to catch walleye.
